Biografia

Elisa Bordin, born in Vicenza (Italy) in 1998, began her piano studies at 5 with Maddalena Falda. She is currently studying under the guidance of the polish pianist Marian Mika, with whom she has been studying since 2016, at the Chopin Academy and at the “A. Pozzi” Academy in Corsico (Milan).

She graduated in piano with a vote of 110 cum laude, then she obtained the master’s degree in 2022, also with top marks. To complete her education, she also attended opera singing lessons and studied clarinet.

Elisa has performed in Italy and abroad, in places such as the prestigious Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, Solitär – Mozarteum in Salzburg, Eutherpe Hall in León (Spain), Casa Balş – UNAGE in Iaşi (Romania), the multicultural center of the Transylvania University in Brașov, Romanian Academy in Rome, Sala Ferrara of the Scarlatti Conservatory in Palermo, Palazzo Ragazzoni in Sacile, Refettorio di Santa Maria Regina Coeli in Naples, Convento di San Francesco for Piano City Pordenone, Sala Beethoven in Trieste, Auditorium delle Libere Stelle in Corsico (Milan), ASSAB ONE in Milan, National Archaeological Museum in Ferrara, Villa Vendramin Cappello Collizzolli in Noventa Padovana, Oratory of San Rocco in Vianino (PR) for the “Valceno Arte” Festival, Palazzo Guarnieri in Feltre for the “Concert of Venetian Excellences”, Sala Maffeiana of the Verona Philharmonic Theater, Verona Literary Society, Castelvecchio Officers’ Club in Verona, Auditorium Pollini in Padua, Auditorium of the San Gaetano Cultural Center in Padua, DIM Municipal Theater of Castelnuovo del Garda (Verona), Oratory of San Nicola da Tolentino in Vicenza, Villa Frova of Caneva (PN), Sala degli Specchi Abano Ritz Hotel in Padua, Villa Centanin in Arquà Petrarca. She also took part in the “Simultaneo Ensemble” project in 2016 and 2017, performing in chamber ensembles in various provinces of the Veneto region.

As a pianist Elisa is awarded in various competitions, including the 1st prize at the “Salzburg Grand Prize Virtuoso”, the 1st prize at the 5th edition of the Città Murata International Music Competition of Cittadella (2020), the 1st prize at the 6th edition of the “Città Murata” International Competition of Cittadella (2021), the Second Prize in the Master Category at the “MIMC Medici International Music Competition” in London (UK), the 2022 scholarship awarded by the Inner Wheel Club – district 206. In addition, in duo with the Japanese soprano Yukiko Shimizu, she won the “Manuel Antolini” Award for the best young duo at the “Elsa Respighi” International Competition in Verona in 2016.

Elisa attended masterclasses with Marian Mika, Konstantin Bogino, Lilya Zilberstein, Roberto Cappello, Vincenzo Scalera, Leonora Armellini, Stefania Redaelli, New Zealand Chamber Soloists, Izabella Simon, Ioana Stanescu.

She also recorded for Tactus Records.

A chiusura del concerto il pianismo sicuro e riflessivo di Elisa Bordin. La Bordin ha affrontato con lucida analicità il Notturno n. 1 dall’op. 27 di Chopin, pagina tra le più cerebrali, e di conseguenza di lettura tutt’altro che agevole del compositore polacco, rendendola all’ascolto con ricchezza di colori. A seguire Le colline d’Anacapri di Debussy, ove la Bordin pone in luce la straniante liquidezza della linea melodica senza tralasciare la ritmicità che parimenti la caratterizza. Finale con l’impervio Studio op. 2 n. 4 di Prokofiev, che oscilla tra percussività jazzistiche e slanci classici, messe perfettamente a fuoco dalla lettura partecipe della giovane interprete.

Si è esibita Elisa Bordin, con un’applaudita antologia di Chopin, molto festeggiata, con celebri brani lirici e virtuosistici, questi particolarmente graditi. Bis: Chopin, Domenico Scarlatti, Szymanowski, rarità molto apprezzata.
